I would like to share one of my most favourite pork recipes – pork in a creamy cider and mustard sauce. It’s very easy and very tasty.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour
Meal for two
You will need:
3 large pork steaks
300 ml of apple cider
1 Tbs of Dijon Mustard
2 Tbs of Creme Fraise
Salt & Pepper
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Season the pork and fry on both sides until golden-brown. Pour the cider in the pan. When it starts boiling, add the mustard in. Simmer for a couple of minutes to get an even texture.
Cover the pan with some foil, but not too tight, so that the sauce can reduce. (NB! make sure your pan can go in the oven, otherwise transfer the food into an oven-proof dish!)
Leave in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until the sauce is reduced.
Mix in creme fraise into the sauce. You might want to plate the pork and get the hob going for a couple of seconds, just to make sure that sauce is even. Voila!
Serve with baked potatoes and some salad. Bon appetit! 🙂
