Where to have Christmas dinner in Oxford

For a plan freak like me, it’s never too early to start planning anything. Seeing that we are coming toward the end of October, it’s absolutely the right time to start planning for Christmas.

My friends and I now have a tradition – every year I throw a Xmas meal. For the first couple of years I would host it at home, but once it got too difficult to cook for 20+, we’ve opted out for a restaurant followed by the pub crawl (and Christmas Carol singing, obviously wearing Xmas jumpers!), so it’s time to look for an ideal place to go for a good and affordable Christmas dinner to suit everyone within your friendship group. A walk in Christ Church Meadow

The other day Ben and I were lucky to go for a walk in Christ Church Meadow with a wonderful photographer Roxy – @21gramsphotography.

She actually found me on instagram and offered us a romantic shoot – and if you know me, you’d know that there is no way I’d say no to a photoshoot! You’ve heard about the proposal, right? 🙂

Beautiful Oxford

No matter which part of Oxford you live in, there always will be a park nearby.
I live five minutes walk from Hinksey Park, which has a lake, a boating lake, tennis courts and even an outdoor pool.
The other day I was running in the evening and just got a little overwhelmed by the beauty of nature around and how lucky I am to live in a busy city, which has some very beautiful and peaceful places.
Obviously, I decided to take some panoramic shots on my phone.
