Coming back to your own blog can be very eye-opening – I came across a post from a year ago, where I set my goals for the year of 2018.
So let’s see whether I lived to my own (self-year-ago) expectations. Continue reading “Resolutions?”
Welcome <3
Coming back to your own blog can be very eye-opening – I came across a post from a year ago, where I set my goals for the year of 2018.
So let’s see whether I lived to my own (self-year-ago) expectations. Continue reading “Resolutions?”
As you might have already seen on Insta, I have recently celebrated my 27th birthday, and my lovely husband, instead of just taking me out for dinner, surprised me with a mini getaway to The Randolph Hotel.
We had the dinner in the hotel restaurant – Acanthus, and I was so impressed that here I am, writing this! 🙂 Continue reading “Acanthus Restaurant – The Randolph Oxford”
My friend Alice and I checked out this new place at St Clements – The Coconut Tree – and I can say for sure, you should check it out too!
Here are a couple of reasons why you just have to go there for cocktails and dinner.

Everyone needs to give Chinese and Indian takeaways a break once in a while! Continue reading “10 reasons to visit The Coconut Tree Oxford”
Harry and Megan are getting married on 19th of May, giving us an extra excuse to celebrate all things British, drink gin and eat fresh scones and finger sandwhiches.
These two are arguably uniting nations better than Donald Trump and Teresa May could, so let’s celebrate this union in style – with the Royal Wedding Drinking Game.

Today is International Day of Happiness, which was introduced by the UN in 2012 to recognise ‘the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world and the importance of their recognition in public policy objectives’ as well as to be a useful reminder that the happiness comes from family, friends and good emotional well-being rather than money and fame.
This leads me to a question: who is actually celebrating this day – the happy ones, or the ones looking for happiness?

The other day Ben and I were lucky to go for a walk in Christ Church Meadow with a wonderful photographer Roxy – @21gramsphotography.
She actually found me on instagram and offered us a romantic shoot – and if you know me, you’d know that there is no way I’d say no to a photoshoot! You’ve heard about the proposal, right? 🙂

Let’s not dwell on the fact that I am now on the wrong side of my twenties, that I will turn thirty before I know it… Instead, why don’t we have a look at how great my birthday celebration was, and announce a winner for the best birthday message. Continue reading “Hello, I’m 26.”
Just in case you didn’t know, today is International Motivation and Inspiration Day; and seeing how I’ve just about recovered from a NYE hangover, I think it’s a perfect day to lay down my resolutions.
So, here we go:
We’re getting closer to the end of 2017 and I would like to review it – to savour the memories whilst they are still clear and write them down, so that I won’t forget.
What a year it has been! So much has happened, so many boxes have been ticked, so many great memories and realisations #adulting 🙂
So let’s start.
January 2017
I’ve started the year dressed as a police officer, and 12 days later (don’t forget, my birthday is on 12th of January!), I was the karaoke princess celebrating hitting a quarter of a century at the Mad Hatter.
The next day we went on a ski trip, which I’m sure you’ve read about and might have even seen the video. (…and if you haven’t, go for it! :))
All in all, my month was fantastic, so 2017 had a really good start.
Just over two month ago the news broke that Harvey Weinstein is accused of sexually assaulting a number of women, leading to many celebrities and role models to speak out. The media and many influences started to praise the bravery of those who have come forward.
It didn’t stop with Harvey. Continue reading “Sexual Harassment – who’s got the power?!”
