Hello and Happy New Year!
Today is Motivation and Inspiration Day, which is timed perfectly to talk about keeping up with the New Year’s resolutions.
The hangover is gone, so it’s time to get motivated and inspired for the coming year. I would like to share my resolutions with you. These aren’t the practical ones (I have a long list of them!), these are to keep my head up and stay motivated.
Don’t take yourself too seriously. No one else does. Relax, breath and only compare yourself to your past self.
Agree to disagree. You don’t have to win every argument. Listen more, dispute less. Sometimes it’s better to keep your opinion to yourself.
Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful. This relates to all material things – clothes, jewellery and all the other stuff around the house.
Try to make at least three people smile every day. Have the mindset of waking up to make other people happy.
Read more. Educate yourself. In fact, on my practical Resolutions list, I am intending to read at least 10 classic books this year. I will be updating you on my progress 🙂
Be active and healthy. Choose green over black tea, cut down on sugar and junk food and exercise. Regularly.
I wish you all to have a great year. Have you thought about your resolutions yet?
