Coming back to your own blog can be very eye-opening – I came across a post from a year ago, where I set my goals for the year of 2018.
So let’s see whether I lived to my own (self-year-ago) expectations. Continue reading “Resolutions?”
The other day Ben and I were lucky to go for a walk in Christ Church Meadow with a wonderful photographer Roxy – @21gramsphotography.
Let’s not dwell on the fact that I am now on the wrong side of my twenties, that I will turn thirty before I know it… Instead, why don’t we have a look at how great my birthday celebration was, and announce a winner for the best birthday message. Continue reading “Hello, I’m 26.”
We’re getting closer to the end of 2017 and I would like to review it – to savour the memories whilst they are still clear and write them down, so that I won’t forget.
What a year it has been! So much has happened, so many boxes have been ticked, so many great memories and realisations #adulting 🙂
So let’s start.
I’ve started the year dressed as a police officer, and 12 days later (don’t forget, my birthday is on 12th of January!), I was the karaoke princess celebrating hitting a quarter of a century at the Mad Hatter.
All in all, my month was fantastic, so 2017 had a really good start.
I’ve never posted anything too personal here, but I think it might be the right time to start. Continue reading “My recovery “
We just got back from the best Ski trip ever at Les Acrs 1800, and I just can’t keep my emotions in! I literally was in tears on the last day – leaving the Alps broke my heart!
Secondly, I would like to thank my friends, who have been amazing this week and made the trip the best group trip I’ve ever been to.
Thirdly, I need to thank the weatherman, who granted us some fresh pow on the day we arrived.
My birthday is coming up, and I’ve already got an early present from Alice and Keaton – and what a present it is!
The guys got me a box with 25 items – for my age – and each item is so thoughtful! I’m going on a ski trip the day after my birthday, so this hamper is not only helpful, but will remind me of them throughout the trip (Keaton is coming with me, but Alice is far away in Edinburgh). The box came with a card explaining each item – I copied it from the card for you to read below 🙂
What a year it’s been!
I have seriously mixed feelings about 2016. It’s been tricky and challenging , with so much change and so many losses, but I would like to believe that I came out stronger.
There have been so many amazing things though! I find reflecting back very helpful to identify the new goals, sooo let’s have a look what happened in 2016.
